Casa del Shai presents Amihan Skins inspired by the season’s hottest make up trends. Amihan shows off 8 makeups for Modavia Fashion Week in four distinct skin tones, Fiji, Sahara, Punjab and Tahoe.

This season we offer you a palette of bright cateyes, fierce orange lips, a new smokey shadow paired off with luscious nudes. Classic muted pinks and bright smouldering greens wash over the eyes at the catwalks. Wear your hair pulled back in a versatile ponytail to show off that pout.

A selection of Amihan Skins are available today exclusively at the Modavia sim for FW2011 from Sept 9 – 15th. The rest of the skin line will be unveiled at the Casa del Shai store on the 15th of September.

Casa del Shai is proud to present her brand new collection, called “The Instinct Collection”, at Modavia Fashion Week, today at 4 PM SLT.

After taking a break to master the techniques of the programme Maya 3D, Shai Delacroix is back in full production, and does it with an outstanding series – the first after the infamous Boudoir Collection in 2009 – inspired by a concept related to instincts, both animal and human.

Fall is about to begin; it’s time for luxe fur and leathers. Casa del Shai infuses the concept of an expression, of untrammeled freedom, the need to be real, and naturally powerful. The 12 piece collection are all never before seen by the Second Life fashionista scene. Witness the unveiling of rich hues and camel tones, as the fall trends goes.

This collection will showcase her gift with textures and amazing new sculpted creations, and is is filled with luxe leathers, rich animal prints, cozy knits, and silken lace.

A few months back, Casa del Shai was asked to participate at Avenue’s Tribute to Alexander McQueen. Here is an inspired piece sculpted by hand and heart for that show. Thank you for giving us the greatest gift, Mr. McQueen. The Gift of Inspiration. The Gift of Creative Freedom. Casa del Shai bids you farewell with a rosette inspired avant garde piece called Pula Pod Dress. Comes with the Pod, Catsuit and a nifty little Lips hat.

Somewhere, inside a little closet, hides a tiny discarded bedraggled sack doll. Roughly hewn and faded, it smiles back like a faded memory of long lost nightmares and crawled out dreams. This Halloween, it comes out to haunt you as shakes, rattles with a new life.

The Kulam Sack doll Avatars is our first sculpted tiny avatar venture into the realm of wicked witchcraft. These dolls are handpainted in Photoshop, sculpted in Maya and brought to life with scripted Blinking Eyes!

Each doll comes with its own personality:

Punk is an mohawked pierced with a needle teenage boy. Pinned is a do-gooder, fashionably cool with his neatly pinned body and a newsboy cap. Pirate is a buccaneer complete with a scabbard and a bandanna. Rollers is your regular fabulously coifed, dolled up Lady in lipstick. Stitches is almost done up but not quite, his arms off-kilter as its sewn midway.

Kulam is a Filipino word for witchcraft and sorcery.

A hark back into shimmering golds and blacks, the Chryselda Evening Gown echoes this season’s affair with glamour. The sculpted folds of the sleeves highlight a long flowing V along the neckline, wrapping around your delicate nape in a semi halter fashion.

Accentuating your hips with a stylish sculpted Mother of Pearl belt, a distinct column silhouette and a skirt that drapes softly around your calves. Another red carpet number from Casa del Shai only in Black and Gold.

The Eternal Nefertari gown is inspired by the Queen herself. Nefertari was the Chief Queen of Ramesses II/ Ramesses the Great. She was the symbol of everlasting life, love, beauty and depicted joyous in drawings, side by side with Isis, the great mother goddess . One of the temples at Abu Simbel was built for her as well as most magnificent tomb in the Valley of the Queens.  She was illustrated in sheer white swathes of cloth as it was for all royalties during that dynasty.

The Eternal Nefertari gown is a modernized homage to her beauty and immortality. Worn with a sheer white top over a colored band, this gown is cinched at the waist with a shiney sash that flows down the front. The back is a gorgeous criss cross of the same sash. Shoulder straps highlight the upper arms as the wrists are adorned with golden ankh bracelets.  This gown is available in 3 colours, Gold, Rust and Blue in Xstreet SL and at the Casa del Shai sim.

The model is wearing Pxl Creations EFE Green, Emerald and Purple make up for her skin and the AVEDA – Short Bob  (Noir) for hair.

Introducing the Casa del Shai Holiday Release for 2008, a collaboration between Shai and Luth Brodie of Reel Expression.

The Mein Herr Costume is a tribute to the fabulous performance by Liza Minelli. As the Cabaret theme goes, this snazzy outfit includes a sculpted bowler hat,  the bowler hat with Liza’s curly black hair, Leather Vest in all layers, Sequined Shorts, garters, stockings, and a black studded choker.

The Bowler Hat is also sold separately so our men can be all dapper this season!  The hat comes in singles or the bowler 3 color packs, or you can buy a bowler hat with hair separately.

After the Volpe undresses, a new collection of bejeweled underthings await you. Casa del Shai introduces two new additions to the glamourous Boudoir line.

The Selena Lingerie Set is calling for glamourous festivities behind the velvet rope. The french vintage lace sets the tone of the evening as it illuminates the jewel tones of each piece. Complementing your decollete, Selena is made of rich satins and little girl bows. A dream of purple, blue, fuschia and seafoam will make you feel sexy underneath it all.

The Phoebe Lingerie Set is playful underwear worth your holiday dreams. The Volpe Silk Blouse is a study of classic lines and silky goodness. A silky sculpty prim kittybow atop a dangerously proper blouse fit to perfection. She lurks behind horn rimmed glasses, perhaps a trademark of her librarian days. And shes still on top of her game, although older and classier among her peers. The Volpe Silk Blouse is quite a successful prowess, a little minx, seducing your skin with its supple ripples.
